Tesla has announced a new recall involving the Cybertruck after identifying an issue that could cause the vehicle’s wheels to come loose while driving.

According to a notice published on the website of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the fault is linked to components in the wheel fastening system, increasing the risk of accidents.

The automaker said the defect could affect the vehicle’s stability and compromise handling if the bolts or related parts fail during use, but emphasized that it is not aware of any crashes, fatalities, or injuries related to the issue.

Also according to the company, owners of affected vehicles will be instructed to take their Cybertrucks to authorized service centers for inspection and replacement of the necessary components at no cost.

The Cybertruck has faced a series of problems since deliveries began, with this being the 11th recall announced by the company since its launch in 2024. Previously, Tesla had already addressed issues involving trim, acceleration, exterior parts, and electronic failures.
